Night Life

Puerto Vallarta's great night life scene starts late and goes until the roosters are getting ready for their first siesta. But there is also plenty of entertainment for those of you who like to be in bed at a decent hour. Many of Puerto Vallarta's restaurants feature live music and there are often unscheduled, impromptu performances along the malecón on any given night. There are public concerts at the main square on Thursdays and Sundays, just before sunset. Since these performances end early, you will probably want to stroll along the malecón and partake in some great people watching. This is a regular part of Vallarta culture and one that should not be missed.
